Yesterday was Jetta's 8th Birthday but
due to a little conflict we
had her birthday celebration today......Sunday.
We had a nice dinner with her family,
Grandma & Grandpa Smith, Great Grandma Smith,
Aunt Becky and Grandma & Grandpa Waite
When dinner was over and dishes were cleaned up
it was f-i-n-a-l-l-y time to open gifts.
There were Cards from GiGi......
this one with 8 one dollar bills all taped
together......very exciting......
and Jetta knew exactly what this
soft white towel was for......
Her baptism towel monogrammed with
her name on one end and
CTR on the other.
then it was time to open the package from
Grandma & Grandpa Waite......
first out of the box was this poofy slip
to go under her baptism dress.
next was this framed poem
"Three White Dresses"
personalized with her name.
the last thing in the box was this certificate
for a date with
Grandma and Grandpa to the
Build-A-Bear store.
She tried on her dress with the poofy slip
and it looked very pretty.
She will be all ready for her Baptism next Saturday.
I was in charge of her birthday cake.
She really likes Boise State......
as a matter of fact she is painting her room
white with blue and orange polka dots.....so......
That's how I made her cake.....she loved it!
Grandma Smith and Aunt Becky helped her
light the candles......
then.....make a wish and.......BLOW !
Jetta served everyone a piece of cake and then
got her own......what a good little waitress!
It was a fun afternoon and Jetta is
such a cutie.
We love you and are anxious to attend your Baptism!
