A Birthday "Date" with Grandma and Grandpa

Today Steve and I took Jetta

on her "date" to the

Build-A-Bear Workshop

first of all she had to decide which bear to buy

then once she decided she took the lifeless shell

to the "fluffies" filler machine where she

pressed the foot pedal to release all the

stuffing into her bear

she tested it out to be sure it had just the right amount of fluff 

and put a little satin heart inside before

sewing him up.

She Air Washed and brushed it and

picked out an outfit

Next, on to the computer to give him a name and

fill out his Birth Certificate

Jetta has named him "Brownie"

Last of all she dressed her little bear up in

his Blue and Orange, Boise State, outfit

oops....he's not a bear at all...

Jetta picked a cute little brown Monkey

We had a fun time and Jetta loves her

Build-A-Bear  Monkey!

Next we headed for the Food Court!

McDonald's was the obvious restaurant of choice

a chicken wrap Happy Meal for Jetta

and an Ice Cream Cone for dessert!

of course no trip to the mall is complete without

a ride on the escalator

At home she showed off her new little friend to her

family and said she had 

way more fun at Build-A-Bear than she thought she would.
