adding to our fountain

Well, we went to the little town of Emmet

about 15 miles north of Star 

and look what we found.

This wooden barrel.

We turned it upside down for a base.

Then "borrowed" the little trees from the

front porch to see what that would look like.

Steve added some river rocks

to tie it together with the rocks

we put in the fountain to soften the sound

and eliminate over spray.

We set it up on the back patio

Today, just a little while ago, I looked out the back window

 and saw this cute finch just hangin' 

on our porch swing chain.

He stayed there until I went outside and got about 8 feet

from the swing.
