The Weekend Before MTC

Friday March 4th

We Arrived in Bountiful, Utah about 3:30 and

met Kevin and his family at the house 

they are buying.

It is what we will call a 

Fixer Upper !

There is a LOT to do, but they are

up to the task and will

begin working on it soon.

Their Town H

ome in Springville went

on the market yesterday.

After dinner at the Cafe' Rio in Bountiful

we headed down to Springville.

We brought the boys some little Star Wars

toys and this little walking chick for

Sydney...she liked to slide around on her

tummy as it walked along.

Saturday

On Saturday morning the realtor was holding

an open house so we decided this

would be a good time to go to the

Provo City Center Temple Open House.

It was the last day and we thought

it might be really busy and we didn't have tickets !

Going early was a good decision because,

though there were a lot of people,

we didn't have to wait at all .... yay !

First thing we were given these lovely

shoe covers !

We watched a video then began

the tour.

It was a "Silent" tour so we just walked

through enjoying all the gorgeous

woodwork and beautiful art.

After the tour we took a few picture in the

visitor's center and outside.

After the Temple we had to find something

else to do until the realtor

finished the Town Home Open House

So we took everyone to McDonald's for Lunch

and an Ice Cream for dessert.

Then it was on to ....

IKEA !

Lani has been looking at some things 

online and needed to see them

"in person" so off we went !

Sydney especially liked the 

shopping carts !

Once we were able to get back into

their house we enjoyed watching the kids ...

play on the little trampoline we got them 

for Christmas.

On Sunday we went to church and afterward

Debbi came down from Salt Lake.

 The kids love Aunt Debbi and always

want her undivided attention 

which she is always willing to give !
