On to Davenport!

First of all.....
if you haven't read
"First Stop....St. Paul Temple"
you should scroll down and read it first!

Thursday, 4-2

Charlotte has started pre-school and
attends on Tuesday & Thursday
so today...in honor of Easter/Spring....

she came home wearing this
cute Bunny Headband.

Debbi was leaving this afternoon so

she made good use of the time
she had left with the kids.

and of course that included a fun

"selfie"
with little Cora Mae

When Wyatt got home from school
he decided to do some studying
for his spelling test tomorrow by
doing a little....

"Sweet Spelling"
(drawing his words in sugar)

Friday 4-3

Wyatt was at school and George at work
but the rest of us went shopping
and came home with
some cute

Easter Cupcakes

We all had one then after dinner
Cora pulled the container with the rest
of the goodies in it onto the
kitchen floor and the dog
 ate them all!

Several years ago when Cami was little
Linda made this Princess Dress.

It has been passed down and well
used by all the little granddaughters
and now Cora is wearing it.....

clothes and is worn all
day!

Monday, 4-6
FHE

Our family home evening lesson was
this fun activity...
"Empty Tomb Rolls"

The marshmallow represents Jesus
roll him in butter (oil) and
cinnamon (spices)

then wrap it up in crescent roll dough
(linnen) and place in the tomb (muffin tin)

After baked we cut them open to discover
an Empty Tomb.....the marshmallow
had melted and the roll had an
empty center.

As if that wasn't enough fun for one night
we decided to play a few rounds of....

ring around the rosie!

Tuesday 4-7
A New Dessert

melt marshmallow's & butter in microwave

smash up a package of Oreo cookies
and add to Marshmallows

mix thoroughly and

refrigerate....next....enjoy!!

Morgan didn't have any of our new dessert
but he seems to be happy

in his Oregon outfit!

Thursday 4-9
Heading for home

We said our goodbyes last night
because we had an early
flight this morning.

We left at 5:45 a.m. and after
some weather delays and
a missed connection in Minneapolis
we were still able to make
 it home by 2 p.m.
