A Visit from Mom, Grandma, GiGi

On Tuesday, April 14th

mom arrived in Boise

We had a wonderful time together.

Matt & Jen's girls were anxious to see her

Jetta & Sienna came first while

Camry was out with some of her

"Star" friends who....

dropped her off at our house when they were

done with their days activities.

Linda's brother Jim's son who lives

in Nampa came out to see

mom.

His little boy, Draegen is such a cutie

and will soon be 1 year old.

this is the first time any of us have met

 Tim's wife Julie....it was a fun evening.

We visited the new Meridian Idaho Temple site.

It is exciting to see the progress on this temple

that is just 10 minutes from our house.

Mom was excited to visit the

Scentsy Commons Building in Meridian....

it's birthplace.

and eateries

We went to Matt's new home and

met the girls bunnies

and then went out to eat at the Sizzler

and took a few pictures with their

family and

a four generation picture.

It was fun to have mom visit when

everything wasn't covered with snow.

Tulips in the front yard and....

Forget Me Not's & Daffodils in the backyard.

We visited Fuller's and Dave & Gayle.

While Steve was helping Dave

Gayle, mom & me went shopping and also

drove by the Boise temple to see all

 the beautiful flowers

and then we all had dinner at the Cracker Barrel.

Mom helped Linda plant some Viola's

for the backyard patio table.

On Sunday Matt's family came over for

dinner

After dinner a few of us played a game mom

brought with her

Right, Center, Left

Mom was resting...I think we wore her out!

On Monday the 20th

mom flew back home to Norco, California

She ate some diner and was packed and

 ready to go by 5:30 p.m.

We arrived at the airport in plenty of time.

We checked her luggage, got

an "escort pass" for Linda,

a wheelchair for mom

and made it through security without

any problems

but when we got to the gate we found out

her flight was delayed....

so we waited an extra 1/2 hour.

her flight was scheduled for 7:35 and by 8:00

they had pushed back and were taxiing.

Her flight was uneventful and landed

in Ontario about 10:30 p.m.

It was a wonderful week....love you mom!!
