Look Mom !

 Over the years, 

beginning when I was 16 years old,

I received a set of Amethyst Jewelry.

The necklace has broken a few times

but the last time it broke enough

stones were lost that it was too short to wear.

A couple of months ago I took it to

a jewelry shop to see if they

could fix it.

I just got it back and was able to wear

it to church this morning.

The necklace and earrings belonged
to my maternal great grandmother
and the ring to my grandmother.

It was given to me because
amethyst is my birthstone.
It is a special set of jewelry and
I feel special when I wear it!
