Fall is in the Air

Autumn is a beautiful time of year here in Idaho.

The Indian Summer nights let the trees slowly turn

all different shades of yellow, red, orange & purple.

Trees around town...

On the street leading into our subdivision...

and in our back yard.



It's fun to change all the decorations in the house

from the Spring and Summer colors

to shades of autumn.



This is a new decoration I made this year
at Relief Society.
It is a great one for kids...or.....???
All you do is put a roll of TP on a square of fabric...
Pull up the edges and stuff them in the TP tube...
Take another piece of fabric
about 1or 1 1/2 inches wide and 15 - 18 " long
and push it down the hole with a stick
or small branch from your fall prunning.
you are done!

just thought it was cute.

Adding a splash of color to our Fireplace Hearth!

On our Mission we bought a center piece for each

season to use in our office at the Cannery.

This is the one we used for Fall.

And of course no Fall is complete without the
traditional Cornucopia...This one
isn't exactly "traditional", but it adds
to our Fall atmosphere.

Soon it will be Winter

and then the Christmas Holiday season...

(can't believe how quickly time passes these days)
