Father's Day was
Sunday, June 21st this year.
Sunday evening Matt's family came over
to wish Steve a
Happy Father's Day.
And while they were at it
A happy birthday and happy Mother's Day
since we were out of town for
both those occasions.
Linda made some brownies which
we put two candles in
one for Matt & one for Steve
the two fathers!
It was a beautiful day so we took
our brownies and ice cream
outside to eat.
Matt's girls decided to show us their
cheer leading stunts
1 - 2 - 3 UUUPPP
well, halfway up is better than
not at all ..... right?
Let's try Sienna .... she's small ....
oops !
Yay !!!
Then we decided to open a few
gifts from Matt's family.
first, reading the cute homemade cards
after struggling to open the box
(inside joke)
Linda received this cute garden bird
It looks so cute next to the personalized
stepping stones the girls made
us a few years ago.
Next, Steve opened his Father's day
and birthday gifts ....
a fun "greenback" and
Something he has always wished for ....
an Airplane !!!!
well, a miniature one anyway .... ha ha ha
Sienna put it together and showed him
how to make the propeller go around.
What a fun present !
We had a good time celebrating together !
Thank you for sharing this
day with us !
