With Mother Nature teasing us with some
beautiful spring days,
it is time to start our Spring Gardening.
We decided to build a planter around our front mound.
We tried making it two bricks high then decided
three would look better...and it does!
Of course after building up the edges Steve found
he needed to raise up one of the sprinklers....
there is always one more thing to do!
We planted Petunia's in the front yard
and....
A new Hosta plant to go along with
the one we planted last year
(which is doing Great this year)
In the back yard our Iris have been blooming
for about a month, and still have more
blooms coming on!
Our Raspberry patch is growing by leaps and bounds...
New Tomato and Pepper plants always do
well up against the house....
and our little garden with it's new Strawberry patch,
radishes, onions, Watermelon, Cantaloupe,
and Cucumbers.
It's been a little bit cold and wet this past week, but
sunshine and warm weather are on the way again!
