Today is Sienna's Birthday...4 years old!
Last week we gave her a Certificate to go on a
"Birthday Date"
sooooo....
Yesterday we picked her up at 10:30 a.m.
and we were off!
First Stop...
Boise Town Center Mall
Kiddie Rides!
Next was the Main Attraction...
The Build-A-Bear Workshop
After looking at, touching and hugging
every possibility she finally
decided on the Bear she wanted
and she helped fill it with stuffing
Before closing up her new bear, Sienna picked out
a little satin heart.
she hugged it, kissed it, rubbed it on her tummy
(so her bear would never get hungry)
then put it inside her bear.
Next it was off to give her new bear an
"air bath" and brushing
The overwhelming task of picking out an
outfit came next...
she decided on an outfit with sparkling sequins all over it.
and a sparkly hair band.
Finally she named her bear "Sparkles"...
filled out the birth certificate...
her bear was boxed up and we were on our way!
By this time we were ready for a snack
so we stopped off at the Wetzel Pretzel shop
Of course no trip to the mall is complete without
riding the escalator....several times!
We had to make a stop at the Airport to buy some
tickets for our trip to Texas
and after a lengthy process that did NOT result in any tickets
(a whole other story)
we were all hungry
The happiest place on earth (next to Disneyland)
is of course McDonald's!
Complete with the best playground ever...
Sienna's favorite was this tube slide that
twisted around from way up at the very top.
Our last stop was Uncle David's house...how fun
for Sienna to show off her new bear
to Aunt Gayle and Uncle Dave
By now it was after 4 p.m. and we were headed
for home. Sienna couldn't wait to get home
and tell her family all about her day.
What an exciting adventure for this little 4 year old girl!
