On Saturday, August 15th we
headed for Springville Utah to visit
Kevin's family for a
couple of days
When we arrived the whole family
was out front waiting for us.
One of the first things we did was make
a trip to DI in Provo.
We were looking for a TV
tray for Parkers...We found one !
While in Provo we drove past the
Provo City Center Temple
Still under construction but lookin' good !
When we got back to Kevin's we
decided to sand and paint
the TV tray....thanks Kevin,
it looks great and Keith loved it !
We spent some time Saturday evening in
Their "second" Family Room.
This is in their garage and is a very
comfortable space for watching the kids
play outside (no fenced yard).
We watched .....
Crew developing his B-Ball skills
And Connor working on his Slam Dunk !
The neighbors sprinklers came on and left
this amazing puddle
that kept on calling for little feet to splash in it.
and .... we watched
Sydney enjoy her little slide from both
the bottom and .....
the top !
Before bedtime the boys snuggled up to
grandpa while he showed them
a video of
a Bear that had stuck his head
through a doggie door.....Pretty funny stuff
Sunday Morning our bedroom
was invaded by the boys
it made a perfect place for watching
early morning cartoons.
While the boys were watching
their show
Sydney was upstairs in her bedroom
reading her books ... She loves her books !
Since church doesn't start until 1:30
there was plenty of time to ....
make Brownies !!!!
of course licking up the leftover batter is the best !
Everyone was ready for church in plenty of time
so Kevin helped the boys do a
little Lego Construction while ....
Sydney snuck a little
"cuddle-time" with her mama
and modeled this little dress Linda made
several years ago ....
Sienna, Charlotte, Cora & now Sydney
have all worn it .... amazing !
We left for St. George on Monday morning
so this was a short visit, but we
had fun and since we would return for
a "sleepover" on our way home from St. George
we would be seeing them again soon.
