Our New Grandson Arrives!

On Wednesday

October 1st

Linda flew to Davenport Iowa

to be with Trudi's family

as they anticipated the arrival of

a new little baby boy.

He wasn't due until the 29th,

but Trudi was feeling like

it could be any day.

So she arrived and they waited and

waited, each day wondering

if that would be the day this little boy

would be born.

meanwhile.....

Linda helped Trudi with the kids,

getting some last minute

things done and learning the kids

daily routines.

On Thursday, October 9th Trudi went

to a doctor's appointment and 

ended up at the hospital.

Morgan Wesley Lansford was born

at 6:44 p.m.

weighed in at 7 lbs 11 oz and 19"

ahhh sweet baby boy....

Trudi was very happy he came early.

On Friday we all visited

mommy and baby Morgan at the hospital.

All the kids were glad to see mommy

Grandma took their very first

"family of 6" picture

meeting Morgan....Charlotte could

hardly believe her eyes

beautiful....uh....handsome

little man!

When do we get to bring him home????

Both Trudi and Morgan did well and were

able to come home on Saturday.

Proud (potty trained) Big Sister...Yay!!

Linda came back home on Tuesday the 14th.

It's always fun to be with our

grand kids and it's particularly special

 when we come home with one more, 

healthy, happy little one....
