Catching Up!

Christmas Day

We started off the morning by sneaking a peek
in our Christmas Stockings...
Tennis Anyone!

Then before church we sang a few
Christmas carols

After Church Matt's family came over
to open gifts and hang out

First the Girls opened their gift from Debbi...
Boy were they surprised to get these
dolls that were Debbi's when she was a little girl.

An Art kit from GiGi

Talking Dora doll
from Grandma & Grandpa

An art kit just for Sienna

I-Tunes anyone?

Boy was Camry a happy little girl...
Thank you Grandpa and Grandma!!

Jetta loves anything that makes her feel
beautiful.  Thank you Lansfords!

One of Jetta's favorite things to do...
Playing waitress!

Grandma & Grandpa really scored with
this Ice Cream set from Wyatt & Charlotte

A fancy new fangled wrench for the boys...

And a sweater for some of the girls.

Uno Attack was just one of the games
GiGi sent this year.

Grandma loved the music books...3 in all!
lucky me!

grandpa scored some homemade cookies...

and
this really cute little book
from Matt's Family

At the end of the day
we had talked with all our kids and GiGi.
Everyone had a wonderful Christmas
sharing gifts, hugs, and fun together.

We didn't get pictures of all our gifts but
everything was perfect.
Thank you Everyone!

Sleep over and Debbi's B-Day

Christmas night the girls stayed over night
and Debbi slept right along side them!

On Monday Matt's family came over
and we played games...

and more games...

And Debbi opened her B-day card
SHOPPING!
In the afternoon she had to head for home
so off we went to the Airport.
She got on her flight...first try!

Then over the next couple of days Grandpa
took down the outdoor decorations while
the weather was still good....rain was in the forecast.

We all loved having Debbi around for the holiday
and we were all sad to see her go.

New Years Eve

We spent the day putting together a new desk
for our office.

First the Desk in one box...
Then the hutch in another box...hmmm...
in the hutch box was not a hutch...it was a credenza!
So we had to take it back and go to a
different store to pick up a hutch.
Of course the stores were closing early for
New Years so we had exactly 1/2 hour to get clear
into Boise.  We made it by the skin of our teeth!
They were locking the doors just as we drove up!

Back home we continued our project.
We got the hutch put together...

attached it to the desk...
then finished the desk.

It took several hours, but we got most of it
put together.

Steve (and Linda) had had enough so we
put the tools down and decided to finish up
tomorrow.
These old backs and knees just don't seem
to work like they used to!

We decided to relax by watching
The Smurfs in 3D
and...
eating Ice Cream Sundaes
A couple of our very fun Christmas Gifts!

umm, umm, good!

Over the next several days we finished up the desk,
mounted some LED lights under the Hutch,
Organized all the piles of papers,
then because during the process
something zapped our computer...
we had our computer repaired and purchased a
new (used) monitor.

Everything is all organized and working now and
it looks very nice.
It was a MUCH BIGGER project than we had
anticipated, but we got it done
and we love it!
